Ref. Jakob to Ref. Laguna Negra
We did the trek from Ref. Jakob to Ref Laguna Negra with Diego and it was nothing short of spectacular! Diego was so knowledgeable about the route which gave us peace of mind on the trail and allowed us to fully enjoy the beautiful scenery. He answered all of our questions about the scenery and route as well as providing a positive vibe to the trek. A perfect Bariloche hiking adventure
Don't hesitate to take a trip with Peumayen Aventuras. Diego and his team will take wonderful care of you in the most beautiful terrains of Argentina! We had a fabulous multi-day hiking adventure. Diego and his mountain guide team members were determined to make sure we had an amazing experience during our treks and at the huts, and they were also incredibly focused on our safety during the hikes. Outstanding Bariloche Mountain Guide
I’ve gone on 5+ treks with Diego now — on a mix of adventures solo, in groups, and with friends. Each time he has been an incredible guide. Our first trek together was in March 2022 on the classic traverse between Refugio Frey and Refugio Jakob. I was instantly impressed by his detailed organization and communication before the trek. During the hike he was extremely knowledgeable and shared a lot about the area. Last winter in August 2023, he guided a snowshoe trip with a friend to Refugio López. He’s expertly led additional solo traverses, such as from Refugio Lopez to Refugio Laguna Negra. Also, he planned a multi-day group trek from Pampa Linda to Refugio Meiling, across Glacier Alerce to Refugio Rocca, and Paso de las Nubes to Lago Frías. Such a stunning and diverse 3 days! An incredible experience! trekking with a very professional and dedicated guide!
The winter trekking that I did accompanied by Diego Agra was an incredible experience! The first day we walked through Cerro López and the next day we walked part of the way to the Frey refuge. I went in September, I had days with a lot of snow, it was beautiful and also hard to walk through the snowy trails. The images of the forest in black and white, the trees loaded with snow, remain with me forever, a beauty, like a movie! Diego as a guide is very professional. Accompanying us from the beginning of the contact prior to the trip, recommending places and guiding me in the preparations. And during the walks I felt super safe since he is meticulous in everything related to safety. And you can see how he loves and respects Nature! The best experience in Bariloche!!
I recommend the excursion to Cerro López on snowshoes. If you visit Bariloche, contact Diego for expeditions. Diego is very professional, responsible and good-natured. Une expérience inoubliable
Nous avons fait l'excursion du Cerro Lopez en hiver avec Diego sur une journée et ça a été une expérience vraiment incroyable ! En plus de voir des paysages absolument magnifiques, on a pu profiter des connaissances de Diego sur la nature et sur l'histoire de la région. C'est un guide passionné par son métier et qui est d'une très grande gentillesse. L'excursion était très bien organisée et nous nous sommes sentis en sécurité durant toute la durée de la randonnée. Une de mes plus belles expériences en montagne je recommande vivement !
